IN PLANE SIGHT (2008-2026) is a body of work composed of over 200 photographs taken through airplane and airport windows documenting a transient way of living, one defined by constant movement, repetition, and time spent suspended between destinations.

While working as a tour photographer and flying nearly every weekend to a different city, the airplane window became a recurring frame. By removing color and focusing on composition, light, and atmosphere, familiar aerial views are transformed into abstracted shapes and quiet visual studies. Clouds, wings, reflections, and fragments of landscape dissolve into minimal forms, distancing the imagery from its literal context.

Photographed using different cameras: a 35mm film camera, a DSLR, a mirrorless, and my iPhone, the work functions as an aesthetic journal, an exploration of seeing differently within a routine that could easily become invisible. What began as a way to challenge myself creatively became a meditation on perception, monotony, and presence: finding abstraction, stillness, and meaning hidden in plain sight.
