sentīre (2016) is a collection of 34 drawings depicting lines and textured gradient patterns created with soft pastels. The patterns travel visually to the center of the canvas creating portals into light or darkness. Influenced by experiences with anxiety - using art as an expressive outlet.

The notion of trying to contain inner turmoil created visual rhythm and repetition in the search of a transition through a porta coeli.
